Giancarlo Vimercati: “Our company was founded in 1968, but more than 50 years ago I was already thinking about “shaping the future.” I was interested in technology applied to production with people at the core of the industrial process. When I think of the early days of Pilot Italia, I think of a series of stories. They are the heart of Pilot Italia’s life which was and is mine too. But above all, it is an adventure filled with accidental and improvised opportunities, and for this reason it is not without unforeseen events. We have always been driven by the desire to be the first in our industry. To be an industrial trailblazer, to intercept new markets and try to anticipate them.”

Welcome to
the Future 2.0

Andrea Vimercati: “Reinventing ourselves. Actively participating in the technical-creative process together with our customers. Investing in research and development without forgetting the importance of personal know-how, i.e. the competence and experience of man’s work as a support to the machine’s work. I imagine a future with even more technology, speed and qualified personnel. The evolution of a commodity company is a process of constant growth, whose final result will be the planning defined together with customers, real partners. And then… investing in research and development to expand the reference market. Contamination, interaction, networking and RFID. The future is based on these keywords.
